Beautiful Bodnant Garden
Upon glancing at the splendour that is National Trust unique venue Bodnant Garden in Colwyn Bay, Conwy it may seem impossible to believe that in fact all of this was created by the hands of a single family.
While it did take them all of five different dedicated generations the feat is no less marred; today you are blessed with the delight that spans across this 80 acre establishment where sights and scents abound.
Among the greenest of gardens, tranquil ponds, and towering trees you will find flowers of every colour of the rainbow; from camellias and daffodils to magnolias certainly you will be astounded by the very fact that there are flowers from all across the globe brought to bloom in this one spot.
National Trust works tirelessly to keep Bodnant Garden in its full glory and that further includes the surrounding woodlands with one very special Dell harbouring a cacophony of trees that are in fact over 200 years old!
Take a stroll among the various trails and also the pathways through the expansive gardens; after you have worked up a thirst or hunger you can take a trip to one of the tea rooms to satisfy any craving. If you plan your timing right you can also be treated to plays that are put on in the early evenings on select dates so that you and the kids can enjoy not only fine theatre but the magic of the great outdoors too.
For all nature lovers Bodnant Garden is a must see destination and you will do well to share it with the whole family!
